Refund Policy

This policy applies to market research reports published by Energy Resources Insights and to any related research products or services purchased directly from us, unless different terms are expressly agreed in a quotation, order confirmation or separate agreement.

Our own order confirmation, applicable product usage terms and any separately agreed service conditions will be considered when reviewing requests, subject to applicable law.

Please check that the report is suitable for your requirements before making payment. Important points to confirm include:

• Report title, edition or publication date and research coverage.
• Geographic markets, industry segments and the information included in the report.
• Delivery format, estimated availability, intended users and license restrictions.
• Price, currency, applicable taxes and any additional fulfilment costs.

If any detail is unclear, contact our team before ordering. Where available, report descriptions and sample pages can help you assess suitability.

Customers are responsible for paying the price agreed at checkout or in the applicable quotation, together with any taxes, duties or shipping charges that lawfully apply and are disclosed for the order. Payment confirmation and product availability may be required before fulfilment.

If an item cannot be supplied or a material pricing error is identified before fulfilment, we will contact you about available options. Where a paid order is cancelled because we cannot fulfil the agreed product, the affected payment will be refunded as appropriate, subject to applicable law.

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us promptly and provide your order reference. A cancellation request is not automatically approved simply because the report has not yet reached your inbox.

We will consider the order processing status, whether the report has already been delivered or access provided, and whether any customized research work has started. Where cancellation is possible, we will explain the outcome and any applicable conditions.

Electronic research reports: Because the value of a delivered report lies in its information, completed digital deliveries are generally not eligible for a change-of-mind return or refund. Your use of the report remains subject to the usage rights agreed with Energy Resources Insights and any rights provided by applicable law.

Physical products: If we offer a printed edition, return eligibility depends on its condition, the order terms and applicable consumer or commercial law. Please contact us before arranging a return.

Although routine returns of delivered research are generally not available, please contact us if you experience an issue such as:

• A duplicate payment or an identifiable billing error.
• Non-delivery of a purchased report after a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
• A delivered file that cannot be accessed or is materially different from the agreed product.
• Another issue for which a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.

We may first investigate and offer an appropriate resolution, such as correcting delivery or providing the agreed file. Refunds may be issued where warranted by the circumstances, agreed terms or applicable law; a request alone does not guarantee approval.

Specially commissioned research, customized datasets, subscriptions and other custom services prepared by Energy Resources Insights may have order-specific cancellation or refund conditions. Any agreed scope of work, quotation, usage terms or order confirmation should explain the relevant conditions.

Once work has started or licensed access has been granted, costs may already have been incurred. Please discuss any cancellation request as soon as possible so that we can review the status of the work and any available options.

Review times may vary with the nature of the request and whether payment verification or additional internal investigation is needed.

If a refund is approved, we will advise you of the amount and the proposed method. Where feasible, the refund will be made to the original payment method; the actual credit date may depend on the bank, card network or payment provider.

Any adjustments for taxes, transaction charges or currency conversion will be handled according to applicable law and the relevant payment arrangements. We do not promise an exact refund arrival date before the payment provider confirms it.
